New Year's Resolution ~~ GIVE UP!

As I was reading through my facebook timeline, I ran across the best New Year's Resolution EVER!   Following is Jackie Bater's post via Annabeth Willis and I hope and pray that this will be your only resolution for 2013 and beyond.

"My suggestion for a New Year's resolution, should you be thinking about making one, is this:  RESOLVE TO GIVE UP!

Give up worrying, for it accomplishes nothing.

Give up all the feelings of resentment or anger you may have harbored over the last year.

Give up trying to prove to yourself that you are so strong and so smart and so capable that you don't need the Lord.

Give up waiting for everything in your life to be like you want it to be before you decide to be happy.

Give up wanting more and bigger and better and be thankful for what you've got.

Give up grumbling, complaining and whining and put some praise on those lips God gave you.

Give up being too proud to be the first one to say "I'm sorry."

Give up.

Give up hoping you will go to heaven.....get down on your knees and make it a sure thing.

Give Up!"
